Welcome to your reconnecting meditation.

Let's get into our cozy space.

You can be lying down on your bed,

Sitting in a chair,

Sitting on the floor or on your meditation cushion.

Make sure you're warm.

Get a cozy blanket if you need.

And when you're ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Notice where your breath is flowing in your body.

Is it up high in your chest?

Or is it flowing low into your belly?

Is there any tension or constriction in your breathing?

And as you start to settle in,

Gently invite your breath to move deeper.

Deeper in your lungs,

Deeper in your belly.

With every exhale,

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw drop.

Let tension release.

On your inhales,

Think to yourself,

Breathing in,

I know I am breathing in.

And on your exhales,

Breathing out,

I know I am breathing out.

And as your mind begins to settle in,

You may just think in and out.

I want you to envision a big beautiful ball of golden light above you.

And this light starts to gently pour itself over you.

It starts with the top of your head.

It's warm.

And as it drifts down,

Pours down over your scalp,

Your temples,

Your jaw.

It releases tension.

It's warm,

Liquid golden light.

Moves down the back of your neck.

Down your shoulders.

Down your arms.

All the way out your fingertips.

It melts all of the tension or constriction that you're holding.

This light moves down your back.

First your upper back.

Your mid-back.

Down your low back.

And it flows down the front of your body through your chest,

Your belly.

And everything that it touches releases.

It moves into your pelvis.

It pours into your pelvic bowl.

And it fills your lower abdomen.

This golden light then moves through your thighs.

Swirls around your knees.

Flows down your calves.

Through your ankles and your feet.

Your whole body feels warm.

And relaxed.

Now I want you to bring your awareness back to your lower abdomen,

Back into your pelvic bowl.

And envision that golden light swirling around.

Gently cleansing and clearing this space.

Feel your breath move deeply into your pelvis.

Allow your muscles to release.

And space to be created.

Feel that deep connection to your center.

Now envision that light,

That liquid golden beautiful light moving up your torso from your pelvis to your heart space.

Connecting those two points.

Feel the center of your chest opening and radiating this golden light.

And as your breath moves in and out,

Notice the connection between your pelvic bowl and your heart space.

Allow that calm,

Peaceful energy to just flow through your whole being.

As you move through your day,

Remember this connection.

When you feel scattered.

When you feel overwhelmed.

Draw your attention back to your breath.

Gently thinking in and out.

And allow the space between your pelvis and your heart to open and soften.

Drop your awareness into your body.

Take some time here to ask yourself,

What do I need in this moment?

And just allow words or images to come to your mind's eye.

And then make a commitment to yourself to honor your needs and give yourself whatever it is that you need in whatever way that you can.

When you're ready,

Bring your awareness back to your heart center.

That's the connection between your center and your heart.

And cultivate the feeling of gratitude.

And allow that feeling of gratitude to just wash over you.

For taking the time,

Creating the space for yourself today.

To reconnect to your core.

Honoring your needs and your desires.

I am so grateful to have spent the time with you.

I hope you have an amazing day.

Thank you.
